Skin Prick Test (SPT)

Solutions of allergen extracts used for a Skin prick test (SPT), or percutaneous injections, are available in 5 mL dropper vials which offer convenience for filling the testing wells of your chosen skin test medical device.

Please refer to the product information of your desired skin test device for determining the proper procedures for filling the testing wells and for use in diagnosis. The SPT vials typically contain full strength, glycerinated extracts, which adhere well to the testing device.

The glycerin’s viscosity also helps keep the extract in place on the skin if you wish to add a drop and puncture through using a single puncture device.
